Our Companion Care services provide emotional support, companionship, and assistance for seniors who are generally healthy and want to remain independent in their home.

Our respite services are designed to support your wellbeing and strengthen the bond with your loved one when you get back. Respite care can be for an ill or special needs adult or child, such as a child with autism or an adult with Alzheimer’s.
Our services may be arranged for a weekend, a day or even a few hours. We can schedule respite care for you on a regular basis or just one time to give you the break you need.
We understand the challenges a family faces when a loved one is in the hospital, particularly if they need constant observation and care. You want to be there every minute, but it’s just not possible. That’s why Meridian Home Health Care offers hospital sitting services.
Our professional and trustworthy caregivers are available to sit with you or your loved one in hospitals/medical facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residences for as long as necessary. Our staff will help the client remain calm and safe by supporting their needs as they cope with limitations such as poor eyesight, hearing loss or cognitive decline.
We will assist with comfort, companionship and personal care, encourage feedings and proper hydration, take notes during medical staff visits and relay that information to the family, as well as keeping the family informed of the clients status and alerting them should a problem arise.
Meridian Home Health Care offers a one-on-one life skills support service for individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities living alone or with family in our community. The primary goal is to support each person in his or her efforts to achieve their potential for maximum independence at home.
After an initial assessment, a support plan is developed, and includes specific goals for teaching and improvement with daily living skills, transportation, medication management, and social skills. Our professional staff provides supervision and specific activities that assist your loved one in acquiring, maintaining and improving skills related to activities of daily living.
This includes personal hygiene skills such as bathing and oral hygiene, homemaking skills such as food preparation, vacuuming and laundry, and social and adaptive skills that enable the individual to reside in the community.
We recognize that each situation is unique and we will work with you to create a personalized plan to make sure the specific needs of your loved one are met and that they are comfortable at home. Our team of caregivers can help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we’re here to give you peace of mind, knowing that your loved one is in good hands.
